It has become a tradition for the site iFixit to disassemble and to unlock newly released. iPhone 7, new on sale officially on Friday (16/09/2016) in certain countries, does not escape from that tradition.
There is one interesting thing from the results of the disassembly. iPhone 7 caught wearing homemade Samsung essential components, namely RAM 2 GB.
During this time, Samsung is often supplying critical components for the Apple smartphone. Besides RAM, the other major component is the screen.
It is somewhat unique. Because Apple and Samsung actually is a strong competitor in the smartphone industry. Both were also some times arguing about patents.
In addition to the specifications of RAM, the surgical outcome iPhone 7 also shows the battery capacity of 1,960 mAh, as reported by PhoneArena and compiled Bojez Creative, Sunday (18/09/2016).
The battery is slightly larger than the iPhone 6s which has a capacity of 1715 mAh.
At the official launch event in San Francisco, US, Apple claims the iPhone battery 7 and 7 Plus one hour more durable than its predecessor. Not solely due to its capacity, but also software and hardware optimization.
Another interesting fact of cracking the iPhone 7 is about the loss of audio jack adapter. Apple CEO Tim Cook said jack to take portions of a very large and must be toppled so that other more important components could enter.
In fact, the results found no cracking no advanced technology components that occupy jack. Nothing but plastic and audio channels.
