Director of Lion Group Edward Sirait, when met in Jakarta, Monday (11/01/2016), said, adding that in order to increase the capacity for national growth this year rose 15 percent.

Edward explained, adding the plane is done by way of lease, with schemes operating lease and financial lease.

He said the additional aircraft will also be used for new routes, particularly direct flights (direct), such as Bandung Balikpapan, Tarakan-Semarang and Banjarmasin-Denpasar.
In addition, he will also develop umrah and hajj flight route flagship, which went straight to Medina with widebody Boeing 747 and Airbus 330.
"While other airlines just to Jeddah so should travel overland to Mecca six hours, we already provide direct to Medina, and passengers can directly worship," he said.
Currently, Lion Group has five wide-bodied aircraft, two Boeing 747 and three Airbus 330.
