BlackBerry seems satisfied with Priv gait, its first Android-based smartphone. The proof, this Canadian company to promising second Android phone in the 2016's.
John Chen, CEO of BlackBerry, did not deny that the BlackBerry with Android operating system showed promising market potential.
Busy playing in the Android market, then what about the fate of OS BlackBerry 10 (BB10)? Is the BlackBerry will still release a device based on its own operating system made it?
Unfortunately, until now, the BlackBerry has not announced plans to release devices based on the operating system. Never mind the official information, just rumors were not audible.
Based on these facts, widely heard in some foreign media, the BlackBerry OS will forget the release in 2013 of it. BB10 is considered to be doomed in the near future.
The assumption is true? Chen,
as KompasTekno summarized from CrackBerry, Saturday (09/01/2016),
seemed to refute the notion that the BlackBerry will kill the operating
system itself. Through the company's official blog, he states that the BlackBerry will continue to develop BB10.
"Fans of the BlackBerry 10 smartphone consumer and enterprise, such as
Passport, Classic, danlainnya can expect increased security and privacy
in 2016," wrote Chen.
"The next version, 10.3.3, will be certified for compliance NIAP,
means it will pass the security test of government's most stringent
class, enabling us to further support government customers who use a
BlackBerry device 10 and want security at the highest level," he
continued.
"We also plan to bring the 10.3.4 version this year with an increase in security again," he said.
In
addition, at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2016,
Chen also said that BlackBerry will not necessarily leave the BB 10.
Priv is expected to increase interest in the market to the output device
Blackberry. Afterwards, then the focus back Canadian manufacturer producing mobile phone operating system BB10.
How do you think you should forget BB10 BlackBerry and focus to Android? Or should continue to develop BB10?
