Facebook fake accounts the number reached 67.65 million by December 2013. That number could rise to 137.76 million , according to estimates account if the highest percentage of Facebook .
More specifically , quoted from The Next Web , Facebook detailing the number of fake accounts and their " behavior " as follows :
1 . A total of 4.3 to 7.9 percent duplicate account is an account belonging to one person or about 52.89 to 97.17 million accounts .
2 . A total of 0.8 to 2.1 per cent classified as misclassified or account was created for something specific , not to use one . This amount reached 9.84 -25.83 million accounts .
3 . A total of 0.4 to 1.2 per cent are categorized undesireable or made to violate the terms of Facebook , the number reached 4.92 up to 14.76 million accounts .
Different from last year in which Facebook released the figures for each of the above categories , this year Facebook released the estimate ranges .
Thus , it is difficult to determine whether the number of false Facebook account was increased or decreased . In the report of the first quarter of last year , Facebook said the number of false accounts about 8.7 percent gdan mid-2013 was 8.35 percent .
