In the next five years, robots and AI even estimated to have been able to take over a variety of positions in three areas of work, namely customer service, logistics trucks, and taxis.
At least that's according to predictions and analysis research institute Forrester reported by CNBC, as summarized Bojez Creative, Saturday (09/17/2016).
"In 2021, a wave of change will begin," said Forrester VP in the prediction contained in a report it.
"AI-based solutions or cognitive technologies will cut jobs. The biggest impact will be felt in the transportation, logistics, and customer service, "he added.
The role of robots and AI replace humans in these three areas is expected to grind to 6 percent of total jobs available.
Forrester cited the car without a driver (self-steering) which can produce widespread impact in the transport and automotive industry.
As for AI, in 2021, Siri sorts of programs, GoogleNow, or bot Facebook Messenger is going to be smarter in recognizing language and human behavior, so it can handle a variety of situations better.
Currently, Facebook has operated more than 33,000 bot Messenger. Bot used by client companies Facebook to communicate with customers via Messenger. Bot can even be set to accept payments from customers from within the app.
Cognitive ability is expected to make the AI more widely used in other fields within the next three to five years.
